SINCE THE WORLD’S BEEN TURNING
SUMMARY
My power-point project, “Since The World’s Been Turning” relates to history in many ways. Not only is my project related to the world of history in a serious way but also in a comedic way. In my power-point, you will find the information you would find in any text book but in lame mans terms. I tried to give the viewer important information from every time period and an explanation to go along with that.
TEXT
I tried to make the text in my power-point project important to where the reader could learn the basics without having to be overloaded with all of the information given in a text book or internet site. Although to lighten the mood of the idea of a “school project,” I tried to make most of my titles kind of funny but still deal with information given.
PICTURES
To me, pictures in a power-point are just as important as reading the text. I find it helpful when I look at a picture because it gives me an idea of what is going on and easier to understand. Like my titles, I added some funny pictures to lighten the mood. All in all, my pictures are related to the text and event that is being described.
VIDEOS
Videos are another big part of every great project. A great video could help tie a project together because like pictures and text, they could help the reader get a better understanding of what is going on. In my power-point, my none of my videos are serious, but they do go along with my information and if a viewer actually paid attention to the what is going on in my videos could learn something.
CONCLUSION
In conclusion, my power-point is related to history because my information is valid, my pictures deal with the text, and my videos are related but silly. All in all, I feel I feel my project has the criteria mentioned and the information, but also by making some jokes here and there put a dampener on the whole idea of dreading making a school project.
